Shipped in a custom presentation box with documentation, a service card, and a 1-year workmanship warranty.

Seiko's open ecosystem of parts makes it the gold standard for custom watch building. We work with SKX, 5 Sports, and Alpinist platforms.

About Us
Flight Critical Timepieces was started by two watch nerds in Seattle who couldn't find anyone building the watches they actually wanted to wear.
We've been modding watches since 2018 — starting with our own collections, then for friends, then for strangers on the internet who found us through forums and wouldn't stop asking us to build for them. Eventually we took the hint.
Every watch we build gets the same attention we'd give our own. We source quality parts, we take our time, and we don't ship anything we wouldn't wear ourselves. No production line, no rush jobs.
We specialize in Seiko and Casio because we know them inside out — their movements, their quirks, their communities. We know which parts fit, which aftermarket components are worth it, and which ones to avoid.
We limit ourselves to a small number of builds per month so every one gets our full attention.
